So since I am new to the blogger world I thought I would write a little bit about myself. Below are 40 things about me that you may or may not find interesting. Here goes!
1. i LOVE life.
Everything about life is so amazing to me. I can't help but smile to myself when I think about my life and all of the wonderful blessings I have.
2. I'm pretty sure I have the BEST family in the entire world.
We have been through so much together and we are so close. I cannot think of anything better than spending a day with any member of my family. We laugh, we love, we fight, we cry, we do it all. They love me for me and I honestly cannot imagine living my life in a different family.
3. I am EXTREMELY ticklish.
Not just a little ticklish, a lot alot ticklish! I have moments where if someone pokes me in the right spot, I will squeal and usually jump. I probably should not be telling people this.. well oh well!
4. i HATE seafood.
Yes, I have tried it and ewww no I cannot stand it. Fish, crab, shrimp, anything seafood I will not eat. I went to Japan and had to eat it out of courtesy and that was a struggle. The fish wasn't too bad.. but, the seaweed tacos killed me! So if we ever go out to eat, just remember please no seafood for me!
5. i LOVE shoes.
Sandals, sneakers, heels, boots, flip flops. My friends have often made fun of me because of the "intersting" shoes i've worn / owned. I love having a variety of shoes to choose from. A pair of fun,colorful shoes can transform any outfit!
6. i LOVE my beavers.
Yep! That's right. I am a die hard Oregon State fan. The majority of my family went to school there and we are all beaver believers. Rain or shine, win or lose I will always choose OSU, even over my BYU cougars.
I do occasionally support the ducks... but only when i'm feeling generous :)
7. My hair is NATURALLY blonde.
People do ask me if its natural and some people don't believe me. I promise it really is!
8. I have never broken a bone before.
(knock on wood!) I have sprained things and twisted things and I even tore my ACL, but I have yet to break a bone. I'm really ok with it, I would like to be able to go my whole life without wearing a cast!
9. I own llamas.
When I was in elementary school one of the neighbors down the road was getting rid of their llama so my mom decided to buy it. She and my dad bought it, walked it home, and the rest is history. Right now we have three. My love for them comes and goes, but when they don't chase after me i'm usually fine!
10. i have the BEST friends in the entire world!
I really do!! From about 7th grade all the way through high school I had the same wonderful 10ish friends. We all get along amazingly and still keep up with each other frequently. Parties, dances, sleepovers, trips, school projects, you name it, we did it! We love having fun and spending time with each other, I love them soo much and can't wait to see them this summer!
11. I want a horse.
I have wanted a horse since I could remember. When I was younger I told my entire family that I didn't want a car when I turned 16, I wanted a horse. I probably said that until I was about 11 or 12. I changed my mind and did get a car, lol, but I still want a horse. In fact probably about 2 weeks ago I sent my mom an e-mail with about 4 horses that I loved!! My dream is to make enough money and live in the country so I can have as many horses as I want!
12. I love to play sports.
I have played sports since I was a little girl. I play soccer and basketball and ran track every year I was in high school. Sadly, I tore my ACL my senior year and only got to play a couple of basketball games. I did help out though and I helped and went to almost all the track meets, even though I couldn't run! I absolutely love soccer and basketball. Football is one of my favorite sports. I always get way too into it... haha, I know my TV can't hear me, but I can't help it!
13. i LOVE singing in the car.
Jammin out in the car is one of my favorite things to do. Singing at the top of your lungs, dancing in the car is the greatest. Nothing else matters, and you are just having fun, especially when your with all your friends.
14. I love going to the lake.
Every spring when it warms up, the first thing we do is head down to the lake. Of course, the water is always freezing, but it is still soo much fun! Going to the lake with all your friends and chilling on the boat or just jumping off the dock is the best. We always laugh at the sign that says " no sun, sun tanning" on the dock. Going to the lake is definitely one of the things I am looking forward to most this summer!
15. Snowboarding and Wakeboarding are two of my favorite activities.
I finally learned how to carve and do my toes this winter which was awesome! You can't beat a gorgeous day on the mountain with fresh powder. There is just something amazing about zooming down the mountain with the wind in your face that I LOVE! My brother Spencer got me into wakeboarding and it is fantastic! I didn't get to go as much as I wanted too last summer, so I can't wait to get back to Oregon and start going!
16. I am addicted to Disney Movies.
I love the Disney princess movies and Hannah Montana is one of my all time favorites! They are just so cute and good!! You can't beat a night on the couch with Disney!
17. I love country music!
Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, Brad Paisley... I think you get the point. I listened to country when I was younger and quit about when I got into middle school. I started listening to it again my senior year of high school and was amazed at how much I loved it, again!
18. I am a lifeguard/swimming instructor.
It is the best job in the entire world! I get to spend everyday all summer at a pool! It is such a fun work environment and teaching little kids to swim is more fun than I can describe!
19. I am a GIANT dork.
I am one of the dorkiest people you will ever meet. I'm not afraid to just be silly and do what is fun to me!
20. I love to travel.
I have had the opportunity to travel lots of places and I love it! I really want to go on a study abroad next spring to London. I went to Europe the summer before my junior year and I am itching to get back!
21. I go to BYU and I LOVE it!!
BYU is such a great place. I love the atmosphere, the people, and the education is top of the line. I have learned so much and have had so many cool experiences here. I can't imagine going to another college, now that I have spent a year here.
22. I have an awesome roommate.
And no, she didn't tell me to write that. She really is great! We get along so well and I have such a fun time with her! She taught me how to pump gas and took me sledding for the first time! I will miss living with her next year!!!
23. I am 40 some days away from officially finishing my freshman year of college!
This year has been undescribable. I have made lots of great friends, done tons of new things, learned a bunch, and grown up a lot for sure! I still can't believe that I am almost done, it is crazy to think that just last year I was debating about where I was going to college and stressing out about graduating!
24. I have more TV that I follow than I can name.
The internet has made watching TV shows so much easier. I am always finding a new show to watch. When I lived at home we had 3, on a good day 5 channels and I was happy with those, but highspeed internet has spoiled me.
25. I wanted to name my dog Hercules.
My mom said no, because it was too long. My high school soccer coached named him Beckham the day I got him and continues to call him that to this day. My brother wanted me to name him Rambo and I said no way jose! I eventually named him Benji, but I tend to call him random things other than his name.
26. My nickname all the way through high school was Booger.
My last name is Wilberger and when one of my best friends Sarah moved to Veneta she started calling me Booger because is sounded kinda like my last name. She even bought me a purse with a B on it! It caught on and by my senior year even some of my teachers were calling me Booger. My soccer coach used to yell it across the field during games!!
27. I don't wear socks with converse.
I usually hate wearing sneakers without socks, I think it is really gross! But, for some reason I cannot stand wearing socks with my converse!
28. Cheese Bagels are my favorite.
Every Tuesday morning, Janae and I used to stop and get them on our way to leadership. Whenever I go to Rays I will get a cheese bagel. They have them at the Cannon and it is fantastic! They are delicious toasted with cream cheese.
29. I love thunder and lightening.
Stormy weather is my favorite. I love to just sit by the window and listen to thunder and look for lightening. One of my favorite memories is sitting on the couch at my lakehouse and watching the lightening over the lake!
30. I love to argue.
I'm not sure if that is really a good thing, but oh well! I love getting into a good debate. It is just soo much fun! I am also really stubborn so I tend to argue alot.
31. I say "rabbit rabbit"
The first thing I say ( well i'm supposed to say) on the first day of a new month is "Rabbit Rabbit." It is supposed to bring you good luck for the rest of the month.
32. St. Patty's day is probably my least favorite holiday.
I don't like having to wear a certain color so people don't pinch me. And I really don't like people pinching me because I didn't dress up on their silly holiday.
33. I have 5 nephews and 4 nieces.
They are the CUTEST kids in the whole wide world. I love them so much and miss being back in Oregon and playing with them all the time.
34. I talk in my sleep.
I have always talked in my sleep, my siblings will always ask me what I dream about and then laugh as they tell me what they heard me saying. My roommate will tell me about things I have said in my sleep. I used to sleepwalk when I was younger, thankfully I don't anymore!
35. I don't like wearing jeans without belts.
I always wear a belt, even if my jeans fit without one.
36. I don't like having painted fingernails.
For some reason having fingernail polish on my nails bugs me. I don't like the way it looks on me. I am fine with painting my toes, probably because people don't usually see them.
37.I have way too many purses!!
The entire back of my bedroom door at home is covered with purses. I used to get a bag as a gift from someone every birthday/holiday. I love all of them, but sadly don't get to use them all!
38. I organize my clothes by color.
Well, I used to at least. Since coming to college my closet has shrunk significantly and keeping it organized isn't really on the top of my list. My hanging clothes in my closet at home however, are always organized by color!
39. I don't wear hats.
I don't like the way I look in them and so the only time I ever wear them is when I go snowboarding and don't care what I look like!
40. I am running a 10k in June with my big sister.
Hopefully I can get into shape in time so that I don't die!
