Thanksgiving was wonderful! Laren and I made the 9 hour drive to Colorado in a breeze. It feels like such a short easy drive compared to our 14 hour drive the other way to Oregon!! We had almost an entire week in CO and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was great to see family and visit! We made it out to the ranch which was so pretty with all the snow, watched some football, saw the newest Twilight ( which I loved! Laren wouldn't let me document it though because he didn't want people to know he went.. oops. He was a great sport for going with me!), and made a trip down to Taos, New Mexico. It was such a refreshing break and much needed to say the least! We made it back without any problems and are now just slaving away until Finals and Christmas Break!
My turn to drive
Blue Mesa. The lake looked so inviting, too bad it was 35 degrees outside!
Out on the ranch. I love the snow!
Shooting. Our Manassa tradition. I have improved a lot!
This cow was just so cute!
I always admire this creek on our drive there.
My very first time on a four wheeler!
Harley - Laren's uncle's dog.
Haha. This picture makes me laugh every time. So redneck!
Sunset on the ranch. I love this place!
Gorge in New Mexico... I can't remember the name. But I can tell you it was freezing and windy!
Chili's
Such a cool Adobe Church!
Giant gorge!
It was very impressive and large!
My wonderful In-Laws :)
I just loved this little church!
Horno bread ovens.
This was an awesome shop with all sorts of goodies! They had some amazing Native American Jewelry.
I'm still not sure why they are holding skulls... strange
