Grateful Sunday

Ahh! I have been horrible at keeping up with my Sunday post's. I am going to try and be better about it, because there are so many wonderful things I am thankful for in my life!

1. I am grateful for my savior and redeemer Jesus Christ. Without him I am nothing and he atoned for me so that I can have the wonderful life that I have. I love him so much and I love the his gospel more than I can express!
2. I am grateful for my wonderful boyfriend who is so willing to help me out whenever I need it! Like fixing my car for me!!!  Besides that he is just an amazing guy, and I am so blessed to have him in my life!

3. I am grateful for technology! Someone asked my mom the other day if she talked to me a lot and she told them "ya, every day!" I love that I have the technology to be able to communicate with my family even though they are all living in a different state than me. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't talk to them all the time!
4. I am so, so grateful for my body! Bodies are such amazing things! I am taking Beginning Ballet and I have to say it is incredibly hard, but the one of the coolest things about it it that the only thing you use is your body. I am so grateful that I have a healthy body and that I can use mine!
5. I am grateful for friends!! Yesterday me and my roommates and another friend headed up to Park City for the Sundance Film Festival. It was so much fun just spending the day together! I love how well I get along with my roommates and how much fun we all have together!

Today I am just feeling so blessed and loved and I am so grateful for everything in my life. Whether it is the hard trials that I have gone through or the wonderful happy moments I have experienced I am so blessed to have the wonderful family and friends that I have and to be the person I am today.

Day 8

Today is a picture that makes me laugh.
This picture make me laugh everytime i see it!! For those of you who know me and my mom you know that we can be goofballs alot and holidays with the family are no exception. My sweet dad got my mom these p.j's for Christmas so that she could have warm p.j's, but all we could seem to think about is how she looks like the little boy off the Christmas story!

Day 7

Today is supposed to be a picture of my most treasured item... haha. Well if you have been reading these you know that I am kind of a failure at these prompts. I don't have a most treasured item, i'm not really like that, but I am in LOVE with the beautiful red roses on my kitchen table right now!!! I opened my door the other day to find my oh so sweet boyfriend standing there with a dozen red roses and a Valentine's decoration for my apartment. I have to say it.... He's the best!!
We didn't have a big enough vase, so ignore the fact that they are in a water pitcher...

Okay - FINALLY! I would love trade places with this girl. She is adorable and I think it would be a blast to try her life our for a day.

Day 5

Share a picture of your favorite memory. Well... Let's see, I have so many wonderful memories from different points of time in my life. I have been so blessed with an amazing family and wonderful friends who have filled and continue to fill my life with great memories. Looking back some of my favorite memories have been made at my Grandparents Lake House over the summers. We always go as a family and spend a couple weeks enjoying the sun and the lake and mainly just each other!

Day 4

Today is supposed to be a picture of my night.... I think that means tonight and well I just got back from snowboarding and well my night tonight is going to consist of snuggling up on the couch and doing my reading for the rest of the week. So i'll just put a photo that i love from one of my blog stalking adventures.
I saw this dress and fell in love with it. It is a vintage dress that was the girl's grandmothers and she got to wear it for her wedding. It is a gorgeous dress and I thought it was so neat that her grandmother got to see her wear it!

Day 3

Today is a picture of the cast from my favorite show. Hmm... That is a lot harder than one might think, I have a few shows that I adore and watch whenever I have the time. My all time favorite would have to be Grey's Anatomy. I have been watching it since it first started and while it has had it's bumpy spots it is still one of my top shows.

Day 2

Today is supposed to be a picture of me and the person I have been closest with the longest. I'm going to change it a little bit and put two pictures.
My family are my best friends in the entire world. Even though there are over twenty of us now, we are closer than ever. They are my go to people and I couldn't make it through this world without them!
Alichelen is my best friend. I haven't known her the longest out of my friends, but I have been closer to her longer than anyone else in my life. She is the best friend I could ever ask for!

One of My Many Loves

Those of you who know of my undying love for everything country know there is no way I could pass up seeing the brand new movie Country Strong. Well my friends, you are absolutely right!! Last night, with the help of an awesome ticket deal from Fandango, two of my lovely roommates, a friend, and I went to the opening night. My thoughts: I LOVED IT!!! It had a story line similar to that of Walk the Line, Johnny Cash, but was a much different movie. First off, I love Tim McGraw and Leighton Meester! And Gwyneth Paltrow and Garrett Hedlund did a fantastic job. I fell in love with their four characters. It was a little rough at times, and was surprisingly sad, but definitely a movie I'd recommend if you love all things country as much as me.
One of the most precious scenes from the movie!
Loved her! She did an awesome job singing!!
These two are just the best!
LOVE!
The songs in this movie were so good! I have only heard Tim McGraw sing before and the other three blew me away with how well they were. Gwyneth Paltrow and Garrett Hedlund especially blew me away! I was extremely sad to find out that he only sings one song on the soundtrack ! If you can see the movie or find movie versions of the songs because they are so much better!

                                                             How precious is this?!

Well Hello There 2011 : snow, sun, and school

Hello again!
It is 2011 and I am so excited about the new year ahead of me, but first a look back at the last few weeks of 2010. I went home for Christmas and was able to enjoy a full two and a half weeks in my lovely Oregon. I was overjoyed to be home and spent the majority of the break running around with diferent family members and a few close friends. My mom and I took a day and headed to the coast to visit her dad, my Grandpa, and his friend Ruby. It was so fun to spend the trip visiting with my mom and even more fun getting to see my Grandpa for the day. Truth be told, I spent a lot of the time playing with his new boxer puppy, Maggie!! The entire family was able to make it for our annual Christmas Eve traditions, making for an absolutely wonderful Christmas! We started with Bowling, the Nativity before dinner, and of course ended with Santa Claus and opening presents. Christmas Day my dad's parents were able to join us for Christmas dinner. It was their first time having Christmas dinner with us, so it was quite a treat!! The rest of break was spent enjoying time with my family and running around town with my mom. New Years Eve was spent dancing the night away catching up with old friends. I finally got back to Provo last night and started classes bright and early at 8 A.M. this morning!! I really should be unpacking and organizing my life, but I thought I would say hello and share some photos from break :)
